What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

I tinted the windows, took all the decals off the sides and hood and done a bunch of doughnuts in the kitchen


What did you use to tint the windows?

Took apart a fried Hitec steering servo and canabalized the conbtrol board and potentiometer from it.

Then used this to make a FREE controller for my new RC4WD Warn Winch.

Works awesome. Only problem was how sensitive the potentiometer is. After finding neutral, had to epoxy it in position to hold neutral.

No need for expensive winch controller if you have a spare channel free on your Tx/Rx

Took it to the beach for some late Bday fun!
Also retested the mirrors, They survived!

Then took it home and gave it a good bath, still finding sand everywhere...
 
I bolted a VP light bar to my Scalerfab bumper. I needed some light down lower to the ground, this should help a bit.

 
Installed a slip clutch for the powered trailer so I lessen the risk of breaking the driveline.

Bought a G6 for myself for Christmas just waiting for my steering servo to come in the mail.
Going to LHS for tire glue tonight.
Will post some pictures soon once I figure out how.
