What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Today I just picked up a bec. All last week I mirrored the transmission, flipped the drive shafts, spaced the bottom of the shocks because the shock bodies were hitting the chassis at full flex, cut the rear 4 link mount shorter for more flex, and swaped out most of the crappy screws for better screws. Also have some losi shocks coming in since stock plastic one leak.

Relocated shocks to lower body height and added spacers to get them off the frame. Ran it for the first time (used rig). Lost two knuckle screws and a tie rod screw. Ended up shredding a front driveshaft. Spent more time trying to fix this thing than run it.

Finished (for now) my JK build "Lil'Pig". Tons of fun, even wore out my dog in the back yard.

Tore apart my truck. Decided to ditch my Cherokee body and go with a f250 honcho. Will make a flat deck for it as I don't like the spare tire area.

Mocked up my old SCX10 kit. This is going to be my Class 2 rig for this year.

Sorry 'bout the crappy phone picture.

successfully recovered my drained LiPO .. two hours on a .1 amp trickle charge (NiMH mode) and then 4 hours on a 1 amp balanced LiPO-mode charge. 4.2 and 4.2 volts. Saved $20.

Took the bead lock rings off sanded them then painted them to match the body of the truck

Put some losi shocks on my truck today and they feel great! Also ditched the stock 27 turn sealed can motor for a old 27 turn motor I used years ago. I put the armichur in an old novak 55 turn can since it had bearings in it. It's got speed and torque now but not very persice with throttle control since it was a race motor. Also put in a cc bec.

I blew my esc up doing this only in did it a different way.i out it on 5 amp nim if I'm not mistaken. For like 3 minutes and this worked the first time on the one and it charges up the second one did work after 2 jumps but when it charged it reached the 90 minute cutout. So I tested them and they tested fine (these wee 3 cells for my e revo mm)so I go and plug them into my esc and boom lol. Luckily castle replaced the esc but as far as the batteries the one didn't hold a charge after a day the second one after about a week also drained. They were orion batteries too haha.
