viper's creeper build

we have our next comp today , it is our first outdoor night comp . we all had to mount lights on our rigs ( i used a total of four led's ( hope it's enough) but we will have lighting as well . here is a pic of my rig sitting on my workbench .

wow i didn't realize it had been that long since i was in here and posted anything , i have been keeping busy with work and several comps . the creeper has been performing well ( not sure about the driver ) i have been running consistantly in either 5th or 6th place ( usually right behind my step-son ) and i am running in 4th technically for the season ( there are 2 people tied for third ) .

i noticed that the creeper didn't seem to be running as well as it had before , so i decided to go over it with a fine tooth comb . it was a good thing i did i found a few problems , one of my front shocks had a pretty badly bent shaft and two of the shocks ( one front one rear) were losing oil . also i had put different rod ends on the front shocks vs. the rear ( oops ) . so i started disassembling my rig so i could fix the issues .

i pulled the shock apart and straightened the shaft ( for now ) , replaced the oil and changed out the rod ends . i have also been thinking that my rig was a bit to heavy so i took some weight out of the fronts . we have our last scheduled comp on the 20th so we will see how she does then ."thumbsup"

well our comp season is basically over ( unless we manage to sneak in another one ) the rig did well ( better than me ) . i am gonna go through the whole rig during the off season and making sure everything is right . i think i ended up finishing 5th for the season .

Ryans pics of your truck look killer....meant to tell you sat that your rig was coming along nicely! Good job Sam "thumbsup"

wow i really need to get in here more often , it has been an interesting off season ( and right before the start of the new season we get nailed with two big snowstorms a week apart ( got 11 inches the first round and around 8-10 inches on the second round ) . i just recieved all of my new parts for the creeper and both of my scalers so i have been busy cleaning and replacing parts ( junfac driveshafts and new wheels for the creeper so far , the scalers got a slew of new parts as well ) i also made some new panels for it as well ( still need to get some graphics on it ) . so any ways on to the pics .........

What wheels are those, Sam? Don't know that I've seen them before. Second pic looks like your front shock shafts are binding on your lower links.

not sure on the brand on the wheels i bought them off of a guy on here , they are nice though well machined ( heck even the air hole is threaded ( i guess to block it off if needed )

it is an optical illusion the links are below the shock shaft entirely
