*** Twin Force Upgrades ***

Hello all, first post from a new user here!

I'm not into crawling, but I own a MF kruiser VE, and this thread is the best alternative parts discussion on the web for the Mad Force.

I bought some ofna steering knuckles when my stock rear ones broke, and of course I discovered their built in 5 degrees negative camber. No problem I thought, and went to RC4wd, to buy their knuckles. To my surprise, all their mad/twin stuff was discontinued!

All the other alternative knuckles from page 2 have camber on them, clearly visible by examining the pictures. What do we do now? The stock ones are crap obviously...

Would it be to early to give a price estimate on those? They certainly look nice, I assume that they will work with the stock MF rims?
Also, will they mount up outside of the "fork prongs" on the axles?

The only negative for me as a basher is that they seem a bit heavy...

man i can't wait to get those for my scaler!!!!! i am gonna need 2 sets from the first batch!

No Problem MJ ;-)

Sgt. Stinger:

Yes.......Mounting on outside (Top/Bottom) of C Hub's

They really wont weigh much more then stock

Please be patient as we strive to bring you quality products

Best Regards Rick

ok i see alot about mad force housings with ofna shafts but wut diff gears are the best ones to run and what are yall doing
about locking the diffs ????

Steel straight or helical cut buggy gears. Ofna, Kyosho, HPI work for sure. Super Shafty has spools for sale and there are mini spools you can bye from Ofna. We run them in the center diff on 1/8 sprints and late models.

Looks like you would need some out drives that attach with a set screw.
And also some funny bearings. Worth a shot to see why you need. But with new bearings, out drives its more hassle and the same cost as ricks parts. And rocks parts are just too easy and work to well not to use

I posted somewhere else in this thread some from Maximizer and New Era maybe. Been several years ago, and have slept since then  AMain Hobbies, Stormerhobbies, and Nitro House stock those Losi mini spools. I've never used them but am assuming they will fit.

I was hoping I could get a complete list of current upgrade parts still being made just got a MFKV and I have been talking with v84x4 great guy by the way I hope he ll get things rolling for the MFers here LOL no pun intended. Thanks

AWESOME THREAD GUYS!!

HELICAL GEARS HB 43T/10T

Getn parts before my rig gets here..

First off... I know I quoted a post that is very old, but it relates to my question. After reading about the Twin Force axles, seeing some builds, and then finding this thread, I bought some parts to start building some axles. This thread has awesome info, but I'm now lost or confused.
Can I use hyper 7 Diffs in the Twin Force?
If so, what parts do I need to make them fit? I'm not worried about having helical gears, but I already have hyper 7 diffs...and TF Diff housings and related items on the way.
I have spare 1/8 dogbones, cva's and other parts, but would love do be able to just drop in the hyper 7 diff. (my fingers are crossed!!)
