TRX4 Sport Rubbing Tires

I just installed new Vaquish 1.9 Stainless brake disc weight set on my trx4 sport and now the new brake/disc rubs against the hub where the tire gets mounted to. It like the wheel needs to be extended out just barely enough to now allow the new brake/disc to rub. Im new to crawling so some of my verbage might be off. Is there a kit or parts in can buy that will just extend the tires just a bit so my new brakes/discs don't rub. Thank you for your time.

Thank you! I didn't realize i needed those hubs when i bought the brake/disk weights, but i know the hobby store didn't even have it as a choice as they were out of most vanquish parts. What i planned on doing after researching for awhile is buying some Treal brass widen wheel hubs that would extend the stance of the tires and also help the rubbing not happen. I see in the link above that the hubs are out of stock. Ill have to keep my eye out for those. Inspector86 in your opinion will widening the stance by a few mm on each tire help on a trx4 sport?

Fuzzy -

Putting some hex hubs on will push your stance out. I needed a set when I switched wheels too. You just need something like this, doesn't need to even be a vanquish product: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-12x6...6+hex+hub+6mm&qid=1553523138&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Just make sure the mm of the hex matches what your wheels are. Something like this will push the wheels out just a little bit. While it should stop the inside of the wheel from rubbing on the axles, as your stance gets wider your wheels are more likely to catch on your fenders when flexing (but that is probably going to be about unavoidable)

IMO, you need to keep this simple. Did you buy the VP brake weights from your LHS? If so I would take them back for a refund because they should have told you that they only work with SLW hubs. Then look for a set of SSD TRX4 portal weights which will fit the stock 1.9 TRX4 wheels if you can find them in stock somewhere. Don't waste your time messing with wider brass hexes that just opens a whole new can of worms. You might also do a search on ebay for TRX4 and look at the brass portal weights that come up in the search results. If you do decide to go with wider hexes be sure to buy hexes specifically made to fit the TRX4.

Thank you l both for the feed back. I'll check Ebay or around online and hopefully come up with those vanquish parts that match my wheel weights.
