Trx 4 Sport lights

Hi guys

I've been away from rc for a few years & got myself a sport kit a few weeks ago & loving it so far done a few simple mods



I would like to add lights to it but am using a hobby wing 1080 esc & a spektrum tx & rx, I was thinking about the traxxas kit but I would really like to be able to select what lights I have on & when, anyone else done this? I would like to make use of all the lights in the body & add a roof bar & rock lights

I’m building a TRx 4 right now. I’m installing the traxxas brand lights. I don’t know how they work, or if you can turn each one on and off individually.

The Traxxas brand light kit is all on or all off. I'd recommend the MyTrickRC light kits with proper light controllers

If you have enough channels and are up for it you could always build your own light kit. I've enjoyed building my lighting setup. Off of one channel I can run headlights/taillights only or rock lights only or bumper light bar only or in any combo. I used a cheap light controller from AliExpress and I have used all different LEDs for different rigs. I usually will run 12v. Just think it's easier. Willing to share any info I have if you decide to go that route. Have a great day!

I have ordered a traxxas kit for now should be here tomorrow so will see what I can do with that for now

I have a Maxx with the Traxxas light kit. I purchased the truck used and the light kit is actually really cool. I’m having a hard time justifying $100 for the light kit for my 2021 Bronco, but I want it.

I'm using the sport lighting kit with the roof led bar and the rack lights. I have only one plug left on my 3 to 1 adapter, but I can't decide between the bumper led bar and some rock lights. Can I just buy another 3 to 1 and keeping on adding?
