Some video I took at the event. I should get more up soon. The attrition rate was high at this event, lots of roll overs and lots of broken axles from the wet and muddy conditions coming into the rocks.

That's AWSOME! Derek is a cool guy met him at KOH!

Derek was an awesome guy, and believe it or not so was Shannon and Wayland Campbell . I talked to just about all the drivers and there crew and they all seemed to be really cool. And the comraderery was top notch with everyone helping each other. When some of the guys rigs broke down they would help out on course flipping rigs, helping pull winch line and whatnot.

Very cool vid, looks like a great event.
How hard was Tom Wayes going ? I read he was killing it then had to pull out cos he had a face full of mud and damaged his eyes .
Lots of rev-limiter climbs on there , sounds great, thanks for sharing "thumbsup"

Tom Wayes was definitely owning the track. The most difficult climb they had also had a bypass route and you got assessed a 5 minute penalty for taking the bypass. Without winching it Shannon Campbell did it once but Tom Wayes did it a few times and one time he did it with a rear tire shredding. Most drivers winched up it or took the bypass. Here is a photo from after the race of Derek West his co driver, crew chief and his wife who was Wayland Campbell's co driver. So yeah everyone got muddy even on there face. They couldn't put the visors down due to fogging up from the high heat and humidity.

Had a blast at our local big comp in Logan Ohio with a great turnout though having bad weather. Here is a short vid on my class 3 run, though not impressive. My sensor cable was bad and caused me not to have any low speed resolution and lots of cogging and the motor would stall out under load doing slow hill climbs but..... I still had fun !

Just a few pics from the comp !

Rick ( V84x4 ) from Super Shafty was nice enough to sponsor our comp and show up with thousands of dollars in prizes and giveaways.
