Traxxas Slash 2WD Diff Lock

I repacked my diff with the Bad Horsie the other day with no improvement. Also noticed that, somehow, a lot of it got slung out of the diff and smeared on the inside of the transmission housing. How that works out, I don't know- maybe I had packed it too full the first time. Definitely not a "locking" action as implied, not that I thought it would totally lock the diff, I did expect a little more hold, but certainly handles the diff action better than regular grease,

I found this on Ebay for $13.99 and free shipping

Can't keep the diff packed well enough for the Bad Horsie to do its job. I just took the tranny apart to wipe up what had worked its way out, and there's still a good bit in the diff... Its slightly better than just regular grease, but not by much. I'm hoping that its worked enough of it out to stop making a mess inside the tranny, so I may just buy a sealed diff and be done with it.
