Traxxas Bigfoot 1

I just got the traxxas Bigfoot 1 kit and am wondering the best modifications to do for rock crawling ??

Sell it and buy something 4wd. Can't see it doing too well only being 2wd. They do look cool and be fun in the backyard maybe but that's about it. Sorry.

The Traxxas Bigfoot is just a Traxxas Stampede. There's tons of upgrades for the Stampede. But it is meant to go fast and jump. It will never be a good rock crawler.

RPM control arms. Just buy a whole pile of replacement driveshafts or MIP's. Take a look over on YouTube also. I'm pretty sure Medic (search for RC Adventures Bigfoot) did an upgrade series on that truck over the winter/late fall. I think he used mostly Traxxas upgrade parts but you can see what he replaced and go forward from there.

Yes. You just got the more expensive version with the Ford shell. Like JatoTheRipper said, at the end if the day they're all 2wd Stampede's with different body's on them.

You're not going to get much Stamped information on this site as this is a crawler focused forum.

To find upgrades all you have to do is Google "Traxxas Stamped upgrades" or "Traxxas Stampede bumpers". That will get you a lot farther than asking questions like that here. Just avoid the brand called Integy. T-Bone Racing sucks as well.
