Traverse City or surrounding areas

I'm planning to rent a car for the trip to Waterford. If any of ya'll want to carpool down with me? "thumbsup" Planning on going down there Friday evening, spending the night, then coming back saturday night.

If you do want to go be sure to drop a post here:Scale gtg/work/hangout party Saturday may 25th Let them know you'll be there so they have enough food and water. Should be fun.

Lee is also accepting donations for course modifications for the event.

And on a side note, I'll be moving back to Texas at the end of next month. We'll have to do a get-together before then and go do a run somewhere.

I'd love to go but I don't know if I'll be able to make this trip. But hopefully another one soon.

Crawl'n'Brawl and I found a pretty good spot on the peninsula by underwood ridge subdivision.
They are developing the land for new houses and it has sand, dirt, mud, and gravel and trenched out everywhere.
Its the closest thing we have to a desert, But here are some pics.

Hey y'all, just picked up my first scaler/crawler a poison spider wraith rtr and it's cool to see there are some others in the tc area that are into it. It'd be great to get a meet and greet set up some time, I'd love to pick y'alls brains on any mods and or upgrades that need doing not to mention just headin out for a run.

I'm up for it, gonna be orderin up a new servo and steering links but the rig is still runnin so she's still ready to go, I'm good for pretty much any weekend.

Hey every one, new to RC. I have a wraith that I got used and have enjoyed using it. I thought that it was hilarious that you all went to the closed "area x" because I did the exact same thing! I often park at west end beach and walk west, lots of old exposed sea wall to run on. Let me know If any meet and greets are going on. I work out of town, but if I am home I'll go. Thanks!"thumbsup"

well i have a small course at my house and so does my brother! im in frankfort and my brother is in honor! Theres quite a few cool spots around my house, rocks in elberta, and the dam on dam road on the betsie is awesome fisherman trails all over and tons of roots and wash outs! text me tomorrow we can chat a little easier about a game plan! where are you located manistee as in the town or county?

Probably, i'm looking for places to explore that will provide the terrain that we aspire to find. i did find one park in Kinross area that has a beach, small lake, some woods/trails for dirtbikes etc. and i think i foumd some placed rocks that are supposed to help with erosion that would be fun to crawl. but i'd really like to find a shallow creek bed to play in. i'm planning to go check out some state parks this coming summer, "thumbsup""thumbsup"

I have been out since i sold off everything in 2010, but I just bought me a Wraith off the forum shipping tomorrow I am totally excited. Wife's christmas gift to me, I will probably bring it up to TC when I come up to TC between christmas and new years. If anyone is around and depending on the weather maybe a crawl somewhere will be in order.

If I can fit mine in the Car its coming up for Christmas, in the Timberlee area and i come up all the time in the summer to visit the family as i live down by Detroit now.

Have a Wraith sitting under the Christmas Tree all ready to run that I got off the forum.
