Hello new to rc world . Have gmade r1 crawler. want to slow it down for what i'm using it for. Can I change trans gears?

Change the pinion on the motor, real easy, quick and simple fix.

Swapping the pinion is the easiest fix. You can change the transmission gears on the R1, but the process is more involved, and the gear options are limited.

Another option is to use a lower KV motor or a higher-turn brushed motor, which’ll slow things down and improve control without making many other changes.
