The locations of where the exact comp spot will held secret in order to preserve fairness and to possibly have zero pre running. This is the goal.

I know this is somewhat inconvenient but its not a huge place and you should be able to find us with in a couple of minutes. Both days will have different spots.

Here is a map of the area:

The map probably looks a bit confusing if you have never been here. I promise it will make total sense once your in town and see how small things are.

To get to the above area from "downtown" Wendover, head west on the main street. You will pass "Wendover Will" (big tall cowboy smoking a cigarette)and then go for a mile or 2. You will see the large rock when you get to "Wendover Will" ahead towards the west. Right when you are on the west side of the rock, you will see your very first dirt road. Take that. You will know your on the right road because there is a "no shooting" sign that is all shot up. :lmao: Once youre on this dirt road you can pretty much start driving anywhere. Its all good driving. Most of the best stuff is right when you leave the highway.

Here is a picture of everything:
Circle = Wendover Will
Arrow = Dirt road to enter
Star = Good stuff to drive

All times are mountain standard time (same as salt lake)

Please everybody try and be on time. I try and run a pretty tight ship and I would like to keep this schedule.

Times are subject to change!

2.2S Class on Friday

9:15 Course setup
10:45 Tech
11:30 Drivers Meeting
12:00 Comp Start

Originally we slated a noon start time(Im going to stick to that to allow the late arrivals a chance to make the class if they choose). we have a slated 12 hour drive and will be going straight to the comp site and starting to set up. I hope that a few will show up and help set courses. Not because I mind setting courses, I just would rather courses have a more well rounded influence. Im planning to run 4-6 courses, though we dont have alot of judges, so I would imagine that we will run 2 or 3 from noon till 3ish and then 2 or 3 from 3-6ish. (I will stay till dark if nessecary for late arrivals to finish running. We will have the number of courses determined by start time at noon.

Location will be the same as the 2.2 pro comp. Follow the directions that Erik listed in the Event times thread.

I will announce the winners and hand out the trophies on Sat. evening during the 2.2 awards(location to be announced). Hope to see you all there, (all those that signed up and any others).

Saturday 2.2

7:15 Course setup
7:45 Tech
8:30 Drivers Meeting
12:00 Lunch Break

We will drive until everybody is done or until dark.

I would like to have the trophies that night at the Days Inn in a conference room. I am not sure if this possible yet so it could be that or at the comp site.

Sunday 1.9/Super

7:15 Course setup
7:45 Tech
8:30 Drivers Meeting

We will drive until everybody is done or until dark.

Trophies will be given at the site ASAP.

Be careful saying take the first dirt road.... Im pretty sure I used those exact words in explaining how to get there to my wife....

About 30 minutes later team tuna went out on a rescue mission. That first dirt road just before the mountain is super steep and sketchy. Shit my wife had our car up so far I was actually impressed it made it up so far :lmao:

So maybe we need a sign?? I have that 801 sign I could bring/Possibly modify.

But let it be known that the dirt turn off is actually past the rock...
