The 2011 Boulder Beatdown

OK,I'm ready to go! After rebuilding my Berg this week,(early in the week) I decided tonite at 10:00 to rebuild it again with a different Chassis. It is all Finished,I got everything packed up,and will be meeting up with Eviltwin in the am. I have alot of good stuff at graet prices for the swap meet.I will see you guys tomorrow,no wait it is tomorrow!:shock: I'll see you guys in hours!"thumbsup"

That was a blast!

That was one kick ass comp. What a great group of guys to hang out with. This newb is now a crawling adict. Lunch was the bomb and I love jeff's toes. I hope he wears those shoes everytime I see him.:lmao: Thanks Tom, Bob, and Eric for a well put together event.

Had a great time with my extended crawler family. It was great to see everybody at the Boulder House again.

Thanks guys for the incredible indoor facilty, the great food, a very well run comp. Eric, Bob, Tom and the rest of the COC crew, you guys go the extra mile to make sure things were put together nicely and run smoothly. Great job!!! "thumbsup"

Congrats to all the top 10 drivers, especially jcboof (who ran perfect on 2 of the courses!!!) and nitrojeff who ran it down the the wire, with 1 gate deciding 1st and 2nd place. There was some great driving by several people.

I look forward to the next one. Maybe I won't have my head so far up my... uhh, yeah, I need to run all the courses well, not just the first 2. I hope I at least gave a clinic on exactly how not to run course 3. :mrgreen:

Also, thanks for feeding us. Everything was really good, but those beans really stood out. They were just the right balance between smokey and spicey!

BTW, will you be posting scores so those not in the top 10 can see how they stacked up?

Really liked the way all the rocks were moved around WOW that had to of been a FUN TIME :lmao:

Wish I'd of put on a better run in the finals but was VERY HAPPY8) (and totally surprised) that I made it and congrats to the other nine!!

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this event what it was. I would like to extend a HUGE special thanks to Tom (Holycaveman) for consistently having this GREAT facility for us to play at!!! NitroJeff....what can I say.....you are a madman, but I hope you never change!!!! Thanks for giving everyone something to talk or freak out about with those shoes!!!! Bob....thanks for all of the help with the behind the scenes stuff and putting the DVD together. Thanks to all of the COC members and even guests who stepped up and helped out with scoring and judging. You guys made it much easier for me this time!!!!"thumbsup"

As far as the day went, we ended up with 28 drivers, 10 finalists, 5 podium spots, 2 perfect runs, and 1 great big good time!!!!!

Wow, I really had a great time yesterday! The drive was definitely worth it."thumbsup" Jeff D. told me that you guys were a great group to crawl with and he wasn't kidding! Thanks so much to Holycaveman for the great location, Diablopres for running things so smootly, and to all the other judges and helpers that put on awesome comp! The Route 62 BBQ was the BOMB!!!!

Huge congrats to all the drivers today in the top 10! NitroJeff, You drove your ass off yesterday as usual! Monkey Feet FTW!!!!! I thought I could hold you off at the end, but greed got to me and 1 gate decided my fate. Congrats man! You deserved it!"thumbsup"

Glad everyone who drove so far to join us had a good time! Sorry I had to take off and didn't get to see the finals, sounds like they were a nail bitter (but I did get my grass cut before dark and the storm hit). I was so close to a full house in that poker run:cry:. Thanks Bob, Eric and Tom for everything you guys do for our club, and these events"thumbsup". Hope to see everyone at the next event!

That was awesome! I didn't know what to expect bring new and having that many drivers! Everything ran smooth!food was good course were great! Tom and his gate 10s :) very one did well all I have to say is when's the next one! Tom thanks for letting us use such a great spot! Can't wait to see the video! Thank for putting it together bob!

I had a good time. 13th out of 28 for my first large comp makes me kinda happy. You guys have a great spot up there. The amount of work you all have put into that place definately shows.
