Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

Yes visibility is the biggest advantage. Ride height with my 40's the belly will be 20" off the ground. At full compression belly should be 8 inch off the ground. This is with 12 inches of up travel in the rear and 20 inches total. The front will be 10 up 16 total or right around there.

Dang your quick! I better swing back by every few days or I will miss the entire build...:| Looks sick though, nice work Man!!"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Well picked up a box full of parts from the lazer cutter last night. got most of the tabs for the front suspension links done today. The main tabs are 1/4" and the reinforcement plate are 1/8" . The winch plate is also 1/4". The flat tabs will be for the lower link mounts. Will be running 1" rod ends on the axle side and 7/8 on the chassis. The boxed towers are for the uppers and will be using 3/4 rod ends.

Slowrockr came down today also and got some of the 1 1/4 support tubes fitted. We should have the seats mounted tomorrow and most of the 1 1/4 tube fitted also.

Looking good guys!

Slowrockr - you taking apart your current buggy to build the new one too?

Looks sweet! Can't wait to see it out on the rocks"thumbsup"

Wish I had the cash for a real toy like that.

Yea I already stripped it apart, flipped it end over end at the CO springs XRRA race..... Twice...... in one day........ on the same jump........ both directions. Damn double jump had my number that day for sure.

Ooooooh Weeee! that looks good! What kind of tubing bender do you have? Do you use anything else for jigging?

I have a JD2 model 3 bender with an air over hydraulic ram. I don't use any thing realy the jig off of. I have a 1" thick stainless plate that I work on when building the tab assemblies.

I got some more pics will up date them later tonight.

On another note got a call today and might have the drive train out of the little bastard sold. so it is a good think and bad thing. going to miss that lil bastard but it has to be done so I can afford to build the new car. Will up date latter.

RIP Lil' Bastard......

Now is the new one Big Bastard?

Well got some more done today. I finished up the front lower 1" link mounts started to modify the passenger front seat and started mounting the drives seat. Slowrockr showed up and got some more tube work done. We have probably 90% of the tube work coped and fitted right now. So next will be the front suspension links the build the shock mounts. Enjoy

That looks very sweet. It's a pity about slowrockr's old buggy, but it looks like it won't be a huge loss if he's getting one of those"thumbsup"

You both going to KOH next year?
