Team Associated teasing a scale crawler!

Happy to, You gonna be bringing anything to the party?

Yes we will support this platform if people are buying it.

It's a good start if all our bumpers, C hubs, knuckles and driveshafts fit.

If the stock wheels are SLW compatible bolt pattern then our hubs will fit.

I will see what else it needs. Seems to be very similar to the Axial truck so maybe doesn't actually need any new parts to be made.

That may have been their plan all along...

I hope so I have one on pre-order at Amain but I have plenty of your excellent products on my scx10.2,so I have a foot in both camps[emoji16]

Likewise!
I just did an SCX10ii and it’s got more SSD than Axial.

They did say it will be made available, it also shares the same bolt pattern so you can use the Axial skid (one of their 2 skids, I think the old 3 gear skid)

Hoping so, axle gears are different , low vs high pinions. I would love my SSD brass knuckles mount up to my VP chubs .........

One of the Element engineers shared on the FB group that the axle splines are the same as the SCXII so Axial c-hubs and knuckles can be bolted on for some day 1 upgrades and the body post holes are in the same location as the SCXII as well.

Yay for standardization.

Cool but at the same time not. the scx2 splines are not very strong.

i run all my rigs on 3S power so metal gears are good peace of mind.

figures, part of the rush to get ready for proline this year was getting my father in law to pull the trigger on a rig quickly. things fell through and we ended up not going, if he had waited he could have ordered one of these enduro things. MY BAD!!!
well at least he is happy with his ascender. gonna be fun to help him go from box stock to PROLINE READY over the course of the next 10-12 months!

Like

After I pre-ordered mine I was having a little buyers remorse, but I'm really thinking I can make it capable as SSD's new truck! It will be fun to tinker on it! So feel a lot better about it now, always been a Associated fanboy!

good to hear, thanks John and Ernie (i still have plans for that last AE rig you sent me). and yeah i have good faith in AE to have stout transmissions. i REALLY like this rig but i am holding out for the SSD. i can only afford 1 rig at a time, and even then only barely! and then there is the hard choice of what body!?

While they did have a bunch of trucks running around at Proline by the fire I dont think they were offering them up for the public to drive, it was just for the reviewers and the Element team and I didnt want to bug them to ask to drive. So for now you're likely going to have to go off of the reviews.

But I can say from the construction of it its very similar.

Oh great they want their YouTube fluffers to push the product before the public can get any opinion of it.

well its pretty much free advertisement to the niche audience they seek. brilliant, really. haha "FLUFFERS"
