Is the overdrive remotely selectable, or is it something that has to be set only this way or only that way?

This looks like a nice rig.

I believe the overdrive options require changing the gears manually in the gearbox. It's basically changing them in the transmission instead of the the axles.

Any info on availability? I was just thinking of picking up another truck and this looks good so far.

While IMHO the Enduro could have a better initial presentation with a much nicer color and the the fenders having their sharp leading and trailing corners trimmed off - it's a pretty nifty little truck.

I don't personally care for the body style and really dislike the bumpers, they don't look like any I've seen on a real truck.

Lots of interesting engineering choices, though - and if you look through the parts list they have "Hard" options of some plastic parts (shock towers, for example) as well as titanium or aluminum screws.

My favorite things are the wheels, tires, transmission, shocks, axles and chassis.

The ESC isn't bad for RTR - jumper-selectable drag brake (3 positions) and a 6V/3A BEC.

However - something about the entire package feels a little bit like it should have been released at a $300 price point.

It's just a bit overpriced - again, just my opinion...

Definitely a decent first actual crawler release, I'd pick it over a Charisma or a BOM or a Gen8 - but against SCX10.2 Blazers, Ascender K10 & F100s, and the TRX-4 Sport... I dunno.

I might even prefer the MST CFX-W JP1 over it - I do definitely like the looks of the JP1 over anything out there, it's main flaw is that there aren't many upgrades available and the COG is high.

EDIT: OK, OK - I watched the whole video - and I'll amend my comments about the pricing. It does come with some spare parts for other configurations (two sizes of battery trays, the other overdrive option gears, etc), the motor IS a 5-slot and there is a KILLER decal sheet - with license plates and individual letters and numbers to make them 100% custom - very creative! The color also looks much better in the video - but, still need some graphics of some sort to wake up the overall look - currently looks like a stripped, no options work truck. Black out the interior, the truck bed and the fenders and you'd be most of the way there. Yank those fugly bumpers and replace with whatever you want (standardized mount sizing!) and stick some frosted clear headlight lenses on there, and you're nearly as golden as those dang wheels!

Man I was going to say a lot of what durok said. I really dig the gold wheels. Would look pretty cool under a brown, black, orange, bright red, dark green, or light blue body. They have an old school vibe to them and I think it plays well with those tires. The body to me looks like a weird cross between an older Ford Ranger and a newer Chevy Silverado lol. But I usually hate generic bodys and for whatever reason I don't hate this one.

Only $50 more than I expected. NICE!!!
And still $20 cheaper than a 1.9 wraith hahaha axial you better step it up! No plastic links on this bad boy!
AND a 3 channel radio included?! Is this thing REALLY winch ready right out of the box?!!

Bravo, associated. BRA. VO.
VERY WELL DONE!

SSD LETS SEE WHAT YOU GOT!

I'm eagerly awaiting the feedback from the guys that get to drive them at Proline By The Fire. I might have to sell a rig and pick one up myself.

Its a dead heat between this and whatever SSD has up their sleeve...
Yeah. I need a truck that isnt a mint replica of my dads that I'm scared to scratch lol

Soze I'm gonna kidnap you next year for proline. You could practically stow away on browneye's trailer!!!
Bring your boy!

I feel like I’m going to end up wanting both, which means something is gonna have to go.

I’m guessing SSD’s truck will be in a different price tier since it’s going to be “upgraded” out of the box.

Anyone want a bomber? :ror:
