Tamiya MF-01X

I got to wondering that if Suzuki had kept selling them here in this form, if they would have had to give up on the US market due to lack of sales, that's just a baby TJ if it has the coils on it!

Wonder if that would pass NHTSA regs and IIHS crash tests, now that I think of that.......

Mine isn't coming home just yet, with all that had been going on with Mom and all of the related driving time and costs, I ended up borrowing a couple hundered from Dad to pay my car insurance for the next 6 months, so it will get layawayed to pay it off, and of course, the General Lee models I ordered all came in around the same time too.............

A simple "no" would suffice, not a life story. Never mind buying toys instead of paying your bills… :afro:

Hell, I still haven't painted the body for my Ascender, more if a lack of time and weather there either................been too humid or I've been too lazy on my days off.

Here's some pics showing ground clearance etc. Unfortunately the Futaba servo I got from amazon was DOA :x, tested after I put it all together.

Ground clearance is 3/4" with the stock tires and high susp. setting. Here's some pics with a 210mm ABC hobby celica and sweep racing m-chassis tires.

And the stock body

That rear overhang is tight enough that one of their Rover Mini Cooper bodies would fit it.......................that with a healthy brushless and 3s would be a blast!

I would recommend that anyone purchasing this kit and wanting to drive over 5mph invest in some oil filled shocks, this thing bounces like a superball. Its fun though "thumbsup".

Some flex shots :lmao:

Tried some different tires/wheels the stock rims look a little oversized in my opinion

interesting how it goes together in sections

Heres the Plan for mine when I get it..

Or at least, half way.. ;)

Looking good.
Let me know when ya get a lil lift kit for it.. ;)

:lmao: that's what the other zuk is for:

What size wheels did you put on it?
I just pulled the Trigger on gettin one.. :D

Nice! can't wait to see the build, should look nice with a little lift.

Front is a 1.55 rim with a cut and shut RC4WD semi tire and rear is stock tire with a RC4WD 1.9 Pro10 rim.

That's why I'm kinda curious about how long the stock pogosticks are and will probably get the sedan shocks I like I run on my M03. They're a bit longer than Mini shocks and should give better clearance so long as the dogbones don't bind.
