Might be a stupid question but why do so many people install their shocks upside down?

You referring to the way mine are mounted or others?
Not yours in general I just see alot of builds where the shock is installed upside down and dont know why btw love the pajero wanted one for the wife but ended up settling for the wrangler as pajero seems out of stock alot.
This thing is awesome
I like everything about this build! paint choice, wheels tires your custom work and that interior looks like its going in the right direction.

I had the same issue with my JK body. Was lucky enough to only have to notch the floor pan though. thinking of adding carpet to the floor and hiding it that way. Thanks guys.
The trans to transfer case driveshaft is going to cut through the bottom of the dash but there is nothing I will be able to do about it, other than cut the dash and try to hide the shaft.
Hey Shane what's your take on the GCM kit? Does it enhance performance? Love the TLTs my favorite scaler rocks TLTs. Keep up the great work you've been on a building spree good for you. "thumbsup"

Looks like you're using the OME internally sprung shocks. I'm working with similar shocks. Did you have to use stiffer springs to maintain balanced articulation? I couldn't find stiff enough springs for the RC4WD scale shocks that would support the weight. Just ordered super lifts with the variable spring kit.
Looks good. I'm sure you'll have no problem fabbing a floor pan.
Is this going to be your C1 entry at nationals?
