Was at the LHS today and picked up some skis that are for the revo/ maxx vehicles.. get to tearing the front wheels off and looking at things and the factory hubs are what 17mm?? Is there a way to convert just the hubs down to the older style to use these things?

Just buy a set of E-Maxx hexes and wheel nuts.

The steering arm looks a little low, are you going to have to space it up, or will it work OK? Also, I guess you would also remove your front driveshaft. What are you running on the rear, just stock tires or tracks?

Post pics once you mount them, the look pretty cool.

Well went to the lhs today to pick up some 14mm hubs and pulled the shafts out so its ready to roll.... err ski!

There is snow in the forecast for tonight so should be able to take it for a run tomorrow night with the gopro!

Skis look good! I'd like to see how they perform. Post pics or video when you get a chance!

Tried them tonight and for as icy as the snow was it did pretty good!! Need to let the snow harden up a bit.. Taking it to work with me for some go pro action!

I took it out with the guys here at work and it needs paddles or something cause it was lacking in the speed department massively... we are editing the footage right now! hopefully will have a youtube link tonight!

I got my chain from Home Depot, it's called "jack chain" several diff sizes, there is done threads on the snow chains on here. Pretty simple. First one was a little tricky getting the number of links per cross chain etc but the last three were super quick.
