Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

I got two I am bringing up. You guys have seen my Axial tuber, but the Copperhead will be making its debut. Only bad thing is, she's heavy. Prolly weighs in around 8-10 lbs. So this may be an interesting outting.

Seth and I hauled a few more rocks in this afternoon and planned a few new lines. I think the courses will be progressively harder from 1 thru 3 but ALL will be completable. (well most of it...there was a section that Colton said Joe would not be able to do :) )

Also a note for those worried about the weather, 1/2 hour after the down poor and the rocks were dry. We've filled in the majority of the dirt areas so it will be very possible to run the course and stay on rock.

H,C,

Bring um both, just remember the one you start with will be the only legal rig. I hope every one shows up. Ken, My boys, And I have been working hard on the rocks to ensure that every one will have a good time.

Adam get those Panthers mounted and on the rocks......

Rain or shine we will be running...

Summit Rock is ready and resonably dry, the Comp is on.

Already have 4 guys here
and
a set of Panther Cougars up for door prize.

Had a great time today! There were a lot of good runs made,(just wish some of them were mine). The upgrades to the course turned out great! Seth and Ken deserve a big thanks for that! Looking forward to the next one.

I had a great time. I loved the lines and coarses . Had fun. The panthers hooked up great once I got some weight in them . Need to get the chassis lighter and the wheels heavier.

Had a great time at the comp yesterday, I was extremely pleased to complete the courses and was happy with everyone having a good time. I hope to make it back up before i head down to vincennes ( moving in aug. 1st ) I'd like contact you fellas in the week of the 27th to the 1st to come up a have a funfilled day of non-comp crawling just for kicks and to be able to run the rocks more. If anyone is interested or wants to put an input on what date we could do that, let me know.
Oh hey Ken, that berg is "NASTY"!!! "thumbsup"I was impressed with the changes some of you made to your rigs and to the courses. I hope to see you all again!

Sounds like I missed a great day of "racing".

I made a few hundred on my scrapping deal. There's a few $$ left in it, so I'll be picking at that for another week or so.

Still working on the Berg, and starting to get Berg'ed out. Need to keep pushing and get it done. VTA needs some maintenance and the 12th is so close to ready, yet I'm stuck fiddling the "stick".

Ken and I would like to have a comp tomarrow at Summit. No points or anything. We will setup the coarses with full judging and scoring. Lets shoot for 11 am start time. Post back if interested.

Brian, Joe, Seth, Myself and anyone else who shows up will be holding a comp. will try to start around 11 but don't let that stop you, it will be a loose format and we can squeeze late arrivals in. It will be a perfect time to get help and try other set-up options.
