Here is some chilling footage of me and the ST-RC group getting out and playing in some fresh powder with our rigs. It was a lot of fun as always. The snow made the trails very difficult to navigate. Wheel speed was definitely important in order to get through the deep snow. That's why I love the AX2 RC4WD 2 speed transmission I got for my SCX-10. I can use the stock 27t motor and still get torque in low gear. I have since changed the motor in my rig to a 45t RC4WD. Low gear is now super slow crawl and high gear is close to stock 27t speed. I have since put even more 3D printed stuff on my rig from Night Customs and it would be a shame to break it off, so keeping it slow will help with that.
