Dont know about length since I don't have a Bastard JR but most of us use losis, axials or big bores.

I just told you you should get some Losi 4 INCH shocks.

X2

I would go with Losi 4 inch shocks. They are alot cheaper than Axial counterparts. I am thinking a lot of people are using shorter shocks with that chassis, but you can limit the travel internally with some fuel tubing.

I would do a search and find some one that has that chassis, then send a pm. Especially if you can find a build thread that you like. Then you will know they know what they are talking about.

No one is talking to you like you were stupid. If you can't find specific info on specific shocks on this site (trust me though, its here), then try the manufacturer of the shock.

There is very little that you can't find here on RCC, but sometimes it takes a bit of work and time to get it.

If someone mentions that they use X shocks on thier rig but don't give the specs, then do another search for X shocks. If that doesn't work, then do a web search and see what that brings you.

I ran traxxas rustler front shocks (sprung) on the rear of the bastard jr and losi 4 in. crawler shocks (semi weird droop) on the front. I wanted to try the rustler shorts all the way around but never got around to it.

If you can find a build thread you like you will most likely find someone that can help you with all kinds of questions as you build your rig.

I am planning to build a fastback, so when I have a queston I go to DickyT & Billj.
