So I built this Scx10 out of spare parts I had to use as a tow/repair rig for the weekend crawling events. Ill be mounting a box in the bed full of the typical hardware and gears that are usually needed on the trails. Since the axles were already setup for it im running the truck with 4 wheel steering.

I wanted the truck to be as capable as possible as the rescue rig so I mounted all the electronics on the front axle to help give it a low center of gravity and great weight balance for the front.

The links are off my summit since I narrowed it.

The 1.7 boggers came in the Mystery box so I just had to run em.

Specs:

SCX10 chassis/trans
TLT rock buster axles
RC4wd 1.7 siped boggers
Tamiya 1.9 wheels
XL5 ESC
2075 servos
traxxas am
keyless RC4wd bully dog winch

RC4wd rear tire carrier bumper
RC4wd 35t motor
Traxxas shocks
Traxxas summit links
RC4wd heavy duty lockers front and rear
Traxxas front drive shaft sleeved
Gmade rear driveshaft
Traxxas gray wide hexes
12.2" wheelbase

I know you said "traxxas shocks" but what shocks are you using? Are they also from your Summit??

Look like the shocks are mixed from emaxx/slash/rustler

The summit uses the GTR shocks which are shorter and have a much stiffer spring than these. These shocks are the xxl 3.3 maxx shocks. I have a big box of all traxxas shocks and they were the best fit for a tow rig but I would like a softer spring for more flex.

Swapped the wheels out for the 1.9 classic lock Mickey Thompsons. Btw it is a total mf'er to mount these 1.7s on 1.9 haha

So I snapped the rear out drive trying to climb a super nasty mud hill. That Robinson racing heavy duty gear should take care of that

I love the look of the Mickey thompsons but running the pit bulls on these shallow off set but very wide Kyosho wheels with rc4wd Mini spacers will give it the width it needs and some good bite. Just need to make the toolbox and a yellow tow strap
