My 1st RC Crawler.. Bone Stock SCX10 Trail Honcho

Here's my new Honcho. All I have done so far is put in my Hitec 7955tg servo and Caste BEC, flip the bumper mount to move it closer to the body and trim the ends off of it, and I messed with the shocks a bit. I have on order a set of 2.2 Rc4wd Mudslingers, Proline Eight Shooters, and a Level3RC lift. Next up will be making (or buying) some suspension and steering links. I sold my old Wroncho and bought a Summit and I really missed it so I bought another.

Now I just put in some traxxas big bore shocks I had sitting around. I read that these were supposed to work good in these trucks. Seem a little stiff, but we'll see.

Took the big bores out. They are smooth and offer more travel but the stock springs were to stiff. Didn't flex as good and more roll overs with them.
