SCRCC 2015-16 Comp #4 - Glendale Shoals

I'm up for some sleet and ice crawling on Sunday. Wear your Voodoo sole boots for the best traction. We won't have to worry about the crawlers, just our footing, but we got this. Right guys?

I'm down for Sunday if that's the plan. I've been tweeking on the rig today in preparation. We all might need to make snow/ice chains...

There is still some solid snow/ice on the ground and I'm sure it will still be nasty in the morning.. However, it says it "supposed" to be a bit warmer tomorrow and hopefully some of the ice will melt and whatnot. I think it would be fine by lunchtime on Sunday but it really depends what the group wants to do. I mentioned to a few of the guys there is a spot under the bridge that stays bone dry year round.. It's nothing epic by any means at all but it does have some potential to it. Another member and myself moved around a few rocks and made a pretty fun little loop out of it just last week. If we wanted to use the area for the scalers I think it would workout pretty "decent" if everyone helped move a few rocks around. On the other hand it might not be much of a challenge to the comp rigs (not sure I have never ran them over there).. Hopefully it will warm up by mid day tomorrow and melt some more of this stuff. I am DYING to get out and do some crawling lol..!

Yeah this weather is fun but I almost got hit head on twice by other idiot drivers when I went to the parts store yesterday evening... With as far as I have to drive, I am not worried about making it in the snow, just worried about my mile per idiot driver ratio and getting taken out by someone else's inability to drive in these conditions. This is kinda crappy, I want to crawl  non driving idiots :flipoff: Okay, vent over "thumbsup" "thumbsup" :lmao:

Yea I kinda need to know so we can come up with a plan. Looking at almost a 3 hour drive.. Sooner I know what's up the better.

Well I just walked in the house I had 5 trees to cut up (3 of them on the house) but due to the weather conditions and temp.

SCRCC COMP IS CANCELLED

We will resume our normal schedule as planned. The Glendale Shoals will be added to our season as our last comp of the season "thumbsup"

A small group of us will be crawling at The Shoals / Glendale tomorrow around 10:30/11ish.. We will be there for a few hours if anyone wants to join!

It's okay, I'll be the comp newb that comes in and wrecks everyone's dreams. Hahahaha
