After receiving a text from the owner of my LHS stating he received one of those quickrun fusion 8ight systems, I got to thinking. What to try it out in first.


I started this build a long, long time ago and had some cut up HB Sedona tires on the 2.2/3.0 wheels. Too ugly, and they got tossed. I also tried the old and beat up nomad db tires, but they just looked too tired. Found some neat tires a while back on aliexpress for cheap, so I ordered a replacement for the other rig, while I glue these on here.

Diff parts, courtesy of OSRC, 2 chassis and a set of slayer arms from an ebay R/C chop shop. 1 inch square tube as a backbone.

I just need to contour this piece for the transmission to drop in.

That's way cool! Any thought to using another front half to give you four wheel steering?

great job detailing the body and that chassis looks really low slung should be really stable
the tires look alittle small though

I did yesterday, ya, I had that thought for sure. Then i rememberedr, I no longer have the other ends.
