Scale Garages and Accessories

Lots of great stuff in here!

Couple new additions to the garage. I had a little aluminum scale garage sign made, SRDLV was able to make a few for me. I love it but want to get a couple that are a little bigger and have a few other ideas for signs as well.

Also one of my 1am amazon purchases showed up, a scale rug :ror: it ties the room together, man

@Topher Builds, nice rug TB! Makes it look nice and cozy in there!:)

So with the weather turning colder, I decided to move my projects out of the shop and work out of my garage. Spent yesterday cleaning. Still need to build a workbench and put up some shelves.

Seriously though, I've had my Element Trailwalker box garage sitting empty and unused for awhile now, so I decided to put it to use. I cleaned off my bench and attached it to my pegboard. My plan is to build another balsa workbench and 3D print a shelf and scale accessories to add to this garage. I think having it on my bench like this will add to the fun of wrenching on my rigs. Plus it will make it easier to snap pics along the way!

And here is a pic of my current shop. I'm pretty much done adding accessories to this setup. I'll still use it to park my rigs and snap pics when needed.

Man this is soo nice. So I think I'm gonna go down the rabbit hole a build myself one. One thing I will say is you can almost never run out of projects lol

I start a project, see something, and it sparks an idea and I want to do that instead of what I was originally doing lmao.

I thought I was immune to these dioramas but after seeing all these... ugh I’m feeling the bug, lol.

Yeah, me too. Even though I have about 4-5 uncompleted RC projects, I keep thinking about doing one too.

Note to self: Be----strong-----resist----temptation

Keeps me busy between RC tinkering and probably keeps me from ‘modifying’ things that don’t need modified on them lol

I’m not looking forward to my wife giggling at my “doll house”.... I wish I could resist.

Here’s mine, although it’s more of a photo booth than a scale garage. I don’t have any cool scale goodies in it except jack stands. Don’t have the room to keep it up permanently so I keep it tucked away usually. Some really cool inspiration in this thread, wow.

Mine, I have a ‘build thread’ for it as well. It is my Nerd Fortress of Solitude.

Not really a "garage" just where I store my rc's. But it's coming along.
