OK fellow Scale chaps: I've said 'Last Run' before on these, but I can't see people cryin' about that. Why is this run 'the Best'? Because multiple-set orders can get FREE sets pretty easy-Order 3 sets & get one FREE- Order 5 sets & get TWO FREE- We have never done THAT before! Why 'Final Run'? We are pretty much ceasing CNC parts very soon, and are in the process of setting up to offer BODIES instead: Also Decals, Paint masks, maybe some Photo-Etched bits......This is happening now and we hope to have our first bod within 6-12 months. As 1 guy I can't do both, so......
These have been many people's favourite product to date, and were the product that got REC off the ground. We are the originators of this design.
They are 3/8" dia. and use a very tight press-fit Nylock nut threaded to fit Tamiya/Axial M4x.7 axle threads: This is superior to common, merely tapped & threaded nuts, you don't need to 'Loc-Tite' them on. The special wrench is necessary, as the nuts are cylindrical just like most 1:1's, and engage the nut faces to leave people scratching their heads how you got 'em on.
The price has remained the SAME for almost 11 years: Those factory lug nuts ain't doing your rig any favours in the realism department. (NOTE: Accommodations may be required depending on your axle length- Trim, spacer, etc. so the axle does not come through the face of the nut, Duh. Max Axle Protrusion = .250/6.3 mm.)
