scale 1.9 tire for Sandstone

Could just about use slicks on good sandstone:lmao:

For my money I would go PBs eany of their tyres are grouse, but the RB xl's are insane"thumbsup"

I always wondered how they got away with using that name for those tires:

My fave tires from back in the RC10T2 days... Pro-Line Gladiators. Still sold today!

Can't sue a company for copyright infringement if it's not in the USA...

Well, I wasn't THAT upset about it. :lmao:

I doubt anyone orders them and doesn't realize what they're getting.

I think I've decided to bite the bullet on the scale part (which sucks because this was supposed to be my scale rig right down to an interior) and I'm going to go Hyrax. Going to mount on Incision KMC Grenades with #2 hubs ...which I have been told will allow the tires to tuck under the rear fenders. Proline scaler shocks. Hope this combo all works out.

I've heard so many good things about the Hyrax and I just like the price better than the Rock Beast XL's that were also on my short list.

I think you made a good choice. I have a couple runs on my Hyraxes now and I am definitely happy with them. I never used the stock foams though...I tossed them and installed CI foams.

Col_Sanders, good to hear. I have some CI 4.75 comp cut medium Lil Novas. I know some are running these. I may pick up some 4.5 instead. What CI foams are you running? And, did you ever run these tires with a stock XJ body by chance?

I'm running 4.75 Lil Novas. Soft outer up front and medium outer in the rear. Comp cut probably would be better, but I had these foams already from another project.

I never ran them on an XJ body but they aren't much bigger than the stock BFGs so I doubt you would have to do much if any trimming.
