Well after trying and trying to get this Rock Force to a comp rig. I have found it just doesn't cut the cheese.

So here it is the good thing is I got to use almost the hole Rock Force to build this.

First there is a custom steel chassis that Josh HotRod Build's "thumbsup"
Custom Four Link mount from HiloDB1 Aloha Bud Thanks
Custom Motor Mount that I had the Maintenance Guy @ Work Cut out
Custom Links that are 4mm thread rod with 1/4 Delrin drilled and slid over these links are the only way to go SUPER STRONG from Xirtic (Josh) "thumbsup"

Stock Shocks Rear limit about 3/8
Pro-Line Epic with Losi Claws
Tekin RS 21.5 combo
True RC 2100 3s Lipo
Hitec HS 5645 Servo
Casle Creation Bec

Now that is kool, the Rf as a scaler, and toped off with a jeep body. Perfect! I love it.
Im turning my RF into a scale tuber , just have to finish it,too much other stuff going on.

It is cool that you got to make a lot more progress on it on Saturday....it look very nice. "thumbsup" Hopefully you found those pins that you were looking for.

Thanks "thumbsup"

Yes this rig handle very nice as a scaler. I allways felt it drove as a scaler with that stiff chassis.

More to come.

good looking rig brian, but its still a rock force!!!:):):)

:lmao:

Yes it is a Rock Force and a lesson learned. It's not what it is. It's what you do with it that really matters.

A lesson is a structured period of time where learning is intended to occur.

We all have learn that MOA's is the only way to go"thumbsup"

You have come a long way on being able to pull off these projects Brian "thumbsup"

Looks like you are able get these built without too much hassle.

The one thing about a RF scaler is that I like to be able to drive my scalers for hours at a time. You are going to need deep cycle Optima to be able to run that thing for that long

Thanks Josh "thumbsup"

I owe alot to you. You have help me with all my pain in the A$$ Questions.

Really I am liking to drive this truck alot. Also I never have Hours to drive my rigs (only at comps). One day when you have kids you will see.

This thread is really old. You prob won't get a response from the op. But a chassis and links like this are easy to build. The links were just 8-32 all thread and the chassis can be cut out on a band saw or get some square tubing and bend it in a vice. Then drill holes where you need them and cut it down the middle. Now you have 2 identical bent and drilled frame rails
