Robinson Racing Gen 3 slipper for 1/10 Yeti works.

i actually installed this couple weeks ago, tried using the stock slipper plate, and it seems to work just fine, it aligned good and dont need to use the RRP standoff or make the hole bigger. did my first run with it to test it out on 4s and it works perty good dint have any problems so far with it

next time time i take the truck out ill take a pic, when i remove it to check it and see if everything is ok.

Wondering if everyone is still having good results using the RR slipper setup? I contacted RR today and asked if the yeti slipper will fit the yeti xl to see what he said and if there will be one coming out for the xl and the answer I got was "no, it will not fit the yeti xl" and no mention of one being released for the xl. I ordered it anyway and from what I understand I just have to bore out the trans case a little to make it fit. No big deal if it's worth it

Mine has held up great and it gets the hell beat out of it. Unlike the others, I did not bore the case out. Instead, I milled the spacer down so it stopped on the shaft notch.

I'd like to install a Robinson clutch on my YXL but I'm not sure what parts I need. Can anyone provide a list preferably with part numbers please?

I'd like to stay as close as possible to the stock gear ratio.

So far I have....

#1564

I'm thinking the 16 & maybe 14 tooth pinions but am unsure of correct parts for the YXL.

Do I need the X-HARD STEEL DIFFERENTIAL OUTPUT GEAR &
X-HARD STEEL IDLER GEAR as well?

Many thanks,

John.
