Kind of a two-part question:

First - Does anyone know what the actual gear ratios are for the RC4WD K44? I've seen 3 different ratios listed, 3:1, 2.67:1, and 2.53:1(Yota R&P listed as optional but not 100% sure).

Second - Is the Yota diff and K44 diff, interchangeable between the housings?

Any input welcome. Thanks

RC4WD has/had 2 different K44 axles: the newer cast K44s and the discontinued machined K44s.

The cast ones use the Yota ring and pinion (2.67:1) while the machined K44s had their own unique gear set (3:1) which was not interchangeable with the Yotas.

Thank you for clarifying that.

Do you know if the original K44 R&P, are compatible with the new cast K44's? The reason I'm looking into this, is to see if I can get a little front overdrive and keep the scale looks of the K44.
