RC4wd TrailFinder 2 Class 1 truck build. "Money"

the revised shift linkage coupler, no more stripped 3mm collar."thumbsup"
they are available @ RC4WD.com

i ran the mudslingers in the 1.55" diameter or in metric terms(39.5mm) no real issues with rubbing at all, i never had to clearance any of the fenders what so ever. i did do the shock behind the axle(for more steering) and move the leaf hanger to the front. which moved the axle forward a little. but this also helped the tires fit the wheel well better when articulating. i hope this isn't too confusing. i WILL post p some pictures once my stuff arrives... stay tuned!!

sorry my interior parts have ALL since shipped out...no real progress on this yet..VERY SOON though.

Thank you very much sir. I think I've got a pretty good idea about how you did the mod. This is great cause I like the looks of the full front body but the bigger tyres will give more axle clearance. Plus they look badass :D I like the scale look of the smaller wheels to though... sounds like I'll be getting two sets of wheels and tyres when I finally get this thing.

I went brushless, you will be pleased "thumbsup"

originally, i tested a 18.5, 8.5., and now a 3500KV 550 can..the drive train is fine after three 40c 4000 MAH packs through it..the tran, tease and axles are built TOUGH!!!
ive never heard such a sound come out of this thing. When the body resonates it sounds crazy when the motor hitsfull rpms.

How about a sound byte???

Looks great.

after further review, testing and a lot of self convincing...it has come to my understanding that THIS will be my new 1.9 scale Competition(G6 adventurist/Tuff truck) truck...It drives really well and can take a beating...so, with that said this build will head in an entirely different direction i may 4 link the rear, and I've decided that the shoes will be filled with RC4wd new compound Baja claws 4.19" keep an eye out, Money just got some new inspiration....thanks Ricky, Dready and Zach...this thing is going to be insane."thumbsup"

that paint job is just SICK.....great job

Thank you sir!! All credit goes to brother Reid Revilla of High Line Dist. he got the blessing from Dupont locally, and shot this color to perfection for me...keep an eye out for a new color, coming real soon. UPGRADE!! FULL UPGRADE!

You just asked if you could change the tires...what is with all this talk. I knew that getting you four guys together would only be bad...

i may 4 link the rear,

4 Link Kit For Trail Finder 2 Rear Axle

That 4 link kit is definitely going on my TF!

Now if my damn birthday would get here so I could get my "Surprise". :ror:

Money has been an inspiration fo sho! "thumbsup"

couldn't resist, had to take it out this morning...did some yard work(while in the process of creating the beginnings of my ORV-Thanks Jon for your help with trash and clearing) and got a chance to wheel it on the first finished leg-"Hells Hole" "thumbsup"

My first impression, this truck sidehills like no other..(after doing the shift servo mod, the only thing that sits up high is the motor and steering servo.)articulation isn't half bad and second gear really gets this thing going...i was running a 3 pole 20t motor on 3S, but the transmissions low gear allowed for the sorest of crawling, tire wedges and all. While still allowing the motor to be cool.
My next experiment is to run a 21.5 sensored brushless setup to see if i can kill some of the 2 speed play in the transmission(typical of all 2 speeds) with a smoother startup, stronger drag brake, and really good modulation...if all else fails COBALT PULLER!! Enjoy.

Kila, I going "borrow" one pic to show my friend. Mahalo! "thumbsup"

Money is back...redid the bed bob, with new tailgate..going to change up the shoes soon...added an interior. prepping it for the upcoming class 1 event."thumbsup"
