I know this is one of the most hated Tamiya kits, but also one of the most enjoyable to build at the same time. Grabbed one for a couple my RC buddies just to build and for us to run around in the snow. And at this current price it's hard to pass up!! If anyone if interested in a fun model kit build check this one out!

I posted this weeks ago in this thread: Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2024 RC Sales

Tamiya is having a Black Friday sale on a bunch of kits here: Black Friday Holiday Sale 2024!

I'd argue one of the CC-01 kits is a better option for a newbie to get into scale crawling. I've seen @OSRC build some incredibly capbable rigs with that chassis.

$129
$149

For sure....and can be a lot of fun in making something capable out of some of these wacky Tamiya kits.

There's nothing more fun than building a Tamiya kit! And definitely a great way to introduce friends to building RCs!

If I lived in the U.P. I'd get one of the land cruisers with tracks. Isn't there always snow up there?

I considered it, but already bought other wacky Tamiya kits and just don't feel like I'd get it out in the snow enough to justify the tracks.

I picked up the CC01 kit last month only because it's one of the few IFS crawler chassis out there. I fully intend to put some work into the project when I get around to it.
