I bobbed, shortened, dove tailed, and put in a drop bed for sterling. Next time I will make sure I dont do this at 2am and forget to center the "toy" on the back :lmao:

Heres some pictures from today and last nights progress.

Haha yeah its pretty close actually. Except this thing is nasty, and the ford sporttrac sucks. I ran out of thinner styrene, so I cant do the roof or the fenders inside the bed.. Going to have to go to the LHS today

What are you sanding with Colby?

Some sand paper I had in my garage, which I also ran out of. I was thinking about putting a big bulldozer blade on the front. Thats probably what its going to take to cover it :flipoff: But that is a good point, what are you gonna do Sterling? I could build a radiator and fan behind the grille that drops down, and frame in the front end with some inner fenders. Just depends on how soon you want this back.
EDIT: and the gaps not that big, I just forgot to toss the bolts in the front of the body

when it comes to shortening the beds, its amazingly simple to get the lines so straight they will go back together like a puzzle peice.

Heres some links that you could learn some tips from. Doing hard body work is really fun when you have some free time, or wanting to kill some time waiting on your XR10 GEARS YOU BROKE AGAIN from the postman :ror:
