Projects

This is not exactly a project but thanks to the wife being bored while I was at work my new hobby desk is built. It is a vast improvement!

but my latest project is that I have been waiting for it to arrive so I can put my beautiful BMachine shortened SCX10 axle and housing to good use.

Having a good time nut no luck on finding many places near by to use these little guys at. So I may thin the collection a bit.

Jon I lived in the southern part of mainland Japan for a year and can remember lots of places that would have been great to crawl. Where in Japan are you?"thumbsup"

I'm not sure where they are located but I have seen some videos on YouTube in Japan that looked great. Looked like they were on a river but may be nowhere near you. Here check it out. It seems to be pretty popular there somewhere.

Great to hear from you Mike I am north west of Tokyo in Fassa. It is about an hour and a half to two hours north east of Mt. Fuji. There is places out there just need to drive around and find them or find a hobby shop and try to speak broken Japanese.

Hay Jon, good to here your finally getting around to using that axle "thumbsup"
You gonna fly back for the first comp of the new season

Just my opinion, but I think the links on the back of the cage would look better flip over.

Thanks man. Thats cool and all but I like them this way. It has some similarities to the KOH LCG Moody special. That's what I was shooting for at least.

I would love to but I am a bit short on funds right now! I would not oppose a full ride sponsorship (literally full ride)! WOOOOO!!!!!!!

I'm finally making real progress on my little class 1 Toyota. I made light housings for the tail, parking and backup lights. They could use some tweaking, as the left side is brighter and cleaner than the right. The over effect is awesome though. I have the HeyOK brake, backup controller installed and I love it.

Check it out.

I've still gotta solider the FXR, BEC and 55T Tekin. Run the wires, and waterproof all the electronics. I have a micro servo to shift the trans, and the mount and link to fab, but that should be easy. Then I'll mount the body and build the battery tray.

I will build a full interior, but I'm gonna wait until we get back from the beach and I've had some time to run this truck. I have the scale accessories planed out and ready to go in.

I'm getting really excited, I love this rig. Its not the best crawler, but it's just so much fun!

Sorry Jon, BmachineRC doesn't have a corporate jet yet so your outta luck.:lmao:

Lol, I had this same body in the back of my truck when we were at Neal shoals last week. Where did you get it.

Got it off a guy on ebay. He was local so I met him today and picked it up rather than waiting on it to ship and got it cheaper. "thumbsup" It's a little over scale to haul the hilux and look legit. May trade the Wroncho setup for a nice tube chassis or just go back to the Wraith Chassis to make everything look to scale.

Michael was is the benefits of the trailing arms? Just looks or do they help the suspension? I may make a set to try out.

So after much thought, I'm leaning towards just picking up a Stampede to stretch like ScottDFW did on his Titan rather than raping the Rubi-Wraith for a drivetrain. It turned out great and would work perfect for a tow rig in my opinion. Thoughts?
