I dove tailed mine. I'll put up a pic of how I made the new shock mounts and tied it all together when I get home tonight. Looks good by the way. I LOVE those rims.

Went out for some wheel time today. Met up with Todd, Marcus, Robert and Godfrey at Glendale Shoals. Got some upper link risers and high clearance skid to install this week. Pulled some crazy new lines! Look out for the next comp at the Shoals!!!

Got some wheel time in with Ironman today. Got a few issues to address before I tear it apart for building sliders, shock hoops, cage and bumpers but overall worked well. ;-)

Gonna give the BFGs off the Slash 4x4 a test run at Neal Shoals Sunday. :lmao: They actually pulled pretty well on the test pile even without weight.

Just bought a dinky cantilever set, but after a few hours of trying to get it to fit it's a no go. If any locals are interested let me know before I put it in the classifieds.

Just a few updates....

Made some new upper rear shock mounts. Made from 1/8" CF that I got from McMaster Carr, these were made to accommodate the rear trailing arms I have on order from BM.

One side installed.

A little bling. New diff cover.

Few more updates....

New powerplant.

Hacked on the front bumper and added a light bar.

Got the rear part of the cage figured out.

Swaped VP rear lowers for axial xr10 lower to get an idea about the trailing arms I have on order.

I've also got trailing arms and other goodies on the way from blue monkey. I hope they arrive before I take off for the beach.

I've decided to either do a radius arm front suspension on the c1 hummer or IFS using the 1/16th traxxas suspension. The rear is getting changed to a 4 link with cantilever.
