Project Venom: Crawl Space's Wraith Poison Spyder Build

Having issues with the internal beadlocks holding the BFG's + I think one beadlock screw is already stripping. :x This may take priority for the next upgrade.

I have a feeling that the next wave of upgrades are going to bring project venom to a whole new level 8)

stay tuned...

Well, I just got home from visiting the folks up in Santa Rosa. Made a few trips out to flatrock and put the rig to the test. I must say that I'm really, really happy with the the way it performed. 8) Didn't have time to shoot any video, but I might do that this week.

The AR60 universal axles and beef tubes made a remarkable difference in crawling ability; I was able to pick tighter lines, reversing less, and pull up easily in spots that I would just bounce around before. I also cut off the fenders as they were constantly hitting the wheels.

While I had a great time crawling, my motor didn't; the stock axial 20t got REALLY hot (almost burned my finger)!

I think my next move may be a MMP 1 cell, a holmes hobbies brushless outrunner, and eventually 32p robinson racing gears
Either that, or I'll just commandeer the 35t torquemaster pro I bought for my LNC ;-)

HH revolver s540. They're supposed to be efficient, low-maintenance, and have low operating-temperatures. "thumbsup" Not to mention, torquey as all get-out too.
I'll likely be beefing up the drivetrain as I break things ;-)

Got some new shoes coming in the mail as well

It was a Kölsch - perfect end of summer/early autumn beer. I got an awesome wheels/tires/hubs deal from a member on the forum here that I couldn't pass up.

BTW, do you know the turn-around time for the custom bent links? Also, your site still shows the MMP I ordered as available! I know Monday was a holiday, just making sure it all went through ;-)

I'm not seeing it showing as available... Are you sure? It's all shipped already. :) You'll have it all this week.

Awesome, thanks! Yeah, it's probably a weird shopping cart inventory thing - it seems to let me add multiples to my cart, though I have not tried to go to the check out stage.

Btw, I want to be the first to receive a shirt when you make them (I'm voting for black)

Very stoked on the OMF's - I think they work really well with the PSC color scheme.

Is there any other color???

Yeah, it's gunmetal grey and the wheel nut (stock) is blue, so very subtle. It's hard to tell grey from silver in the pictures; it pops more in real life. Actually, almost all the graphics on the PSC are grey, which I only noticed after installing the wheels. I may eventually get blue front rings, but that's another $40 + shipping and not a priority. The more I look at it, the more I like it (opposite of buyer's remorse)

Love the wheels!!! Those or the method wheels will be my next purchase!!!
Also like the driver/mechanic!:lmao:

Thanks! I was torn between the method and OMF - method is cheaper but OMF looks more badass. I was also considering the SLW v1 and v4 due to the .7" width.
Let me know what you go with "thumbsup"
