PRO-LINE new TSL

Here's a picture of the last time my new tars were new

I ran 1 4s pack today, in a very diverse range of terrain. My wraith was a belly dragger (links level) and these tires made an amazing difference in the break-over situations. They also hooked like a treble hook on rock, and walked right up loose hills with a healthy dose of 4s speed.

These are hands down the best tires I have ever used, and I feel bad for anybody that uses them straight away, because all other tires are going to suck by comparison.

Post run, no damage to tires and almost no wear.

Summary: The best tires I have ever used, bar none.
Are u running the foams that come with them? If so did they work ok. They feel a little firm to me

Ah I should have mentioned, no I'm running 6.0 ci foams soft rear, med front. The stockers should be pretty good though, the origional memory foams (non xl) are simply too soft!

Has anyone ran these with the stock foams yet? I do 80% rock crawling the rest slow trails so I dont even want to bother mounting if the stock foams are that bad. It seems everyone who has done so has said they were a pain to mount.

Well who ever designed the beads on these should be fired. I've got one mounted but am now seriously considering not mounting anymore until I have different foams. I dont want to have to do this twice

Agreed! Really, how much more work would it have been to fix the damn bead?? I WILL NOT buy em regardless of how good they look or how well they perform..

I run 43" SX's on my 1:1 and was really looking forward to these..

I will say that the stock foams are firm and a nightmare to mount. I wanted to give up numerous times. LoL. I ended up wiping down the bead and tire rings with contact cleaner to make sure they were clean as well as clean your hand well. Any oil will cause you grief! 2 days later here they are. LoL

"thumbsup"

1 bead left. I have tried it at least 7 times in the past hour. Im done for the night.... If I dont give it a break I'm just going to set these things on fire

I had problems with trying to get the 1 mounted on a stock LCC rim and finally trimmed the corners off the foam to get them close to fitting. That finally worked, but when I mounted a set of 1.9 XL's on the Axial beadlocks, I didn't have these, issues.

Dont know.... I tried trimming the foam around the bead this morning. At first I thought the foam might be getting in between the rubber and the wheels so it would just slip right out. I also tried clean in the tires and bead lock surfaces with alcohol. 2 attempts so far this morning.... not looking good.

Im out of ideas

Starting to think there's something wrong with the wheel or tire. They all look and feel ok. Im really thinking the bead of the tire is a little larger in diameter then it should be. Seems like which ever side I tighten down first, the opposite side is the one that wont stay in.

I've tried tightening them in every way imaginable.

I have mounted the old swampers with the same crappy bead on just about every wheel out there with no real problems, and that's with CI wide foams, even on .7 wide slws. The trick is to hold the bead in while you gradually tighten the screws. Takes strong fingers and a little bit of patience.

I should get my XLs today and will be throwing them on my VP OMFs, cant wait!

I got the other 7 beads without too much trouble. But this one took a lot. I finally got it though I dont know how long it will stay. I ended up having to tie some string around the outside edge of the tire and compress it a lot. Then I had to loosen anf retighten one spot of the bead about 4 times before I got it all to stay................

I probably will never buy another pro line tire unless they fix the bead.

I think this one tire had an issue, though I still think the bead design is awful period.
