Hey guys,

I am pretty new to RC and have decided to get the Axial Rubicon Kit.

I have spent the last couple of weeks reading through forums learning whats what and trying to get a parts list sorted out so here it is.

Can you please let me know if all of this will be compatible and let me know if I have missed anything. Thanks!

Motor/esc-yes

Bec-yes set it to 7.4v with castle link programmer or lhs can do it for you

Servo at 7.4 is roughly 170+ oz of torque-be fine in 1.9 rig

24t is for hitec-yes

Batteries 2000-5000mah depending on room & runtime 20-30c be ok

Transmitter/receiver-yes

Connectors- deans is what I run you will need a female for each battery & two males one for charger & one on esc. The gearing is preference really but with 35t I'm running 60/13 32p but in 48p 84/17 driving style & what your doin with rig varies just watch temps on motor!!!

With this being said you will get diff opinions this is mine"thumbsup"

Thanks.
The size of the Tekin 35t motor shaft is 3.2mm im strugling to find any pinion gears with that size hole or most dont specify the size. Can anyone tell me a specific brand or send me a link to something that will fit?

Everything that's been posted above is a good choice. The kit should come with a pinion, I would suggest run the factory pinion/spur and see where you want to go from there.
I quite like the factory ratio on 3s, but you should be good to go lower/faster if need be as the motor is cool to lukewarm with the factory setup.

I run a 2200mah 3s gens ace and it is borderline on the smallish size for the holder, but I am getting an hour out of it.

I would also recommend moving the battery holder behind the front shock tower as a cheap easy mod.

Enjoy the build and post some pics "thumbsup"
