Today was an interesting day..."interesting", indeed. I've had 12 packages delivered today...some with as few as one item. Kicking things off (literally, and figuratively) was a new pair of shoes...another pair of Asics Kayano to add to the 'collection'.

Next up was a new kit...the (somewhat) recently-released Tamiya TD4 Super Avante.

To go with the Super Avante is a collection of 'Hop-Up' parts (all official Tamiya), a PowerHD R12 servo (for the TD4), a few pair of Tamiya "cutlery" (lol), and...to the right of the scissors...a upgrades for my AE B74.1 4WD buggy.

Talk about kicking the week off with a *bang*. Guess it's a good thing my b-day is this Friday - Happy Birthday to myself.

^ Happy early birthday to you dude.

So here's #8 of 10, of the 1/10 Toyota crawler lexan builds. This one will be a light blue or tan LC70 on 4.19's. I'm gonna "try" not to put this together, because #6 and #7 aren't 100% done yet due to awaiting parts/needing paint done.

Finally bought a storage shelf dedicated to my RCs. It's gonna look awesome with all 1/10 Toyotas.

Duuude that flex!

It’s a solid 3mm at least!

Man, I need to finish my suburban build so we can have a (lack of) flex off!

Nice truck bro!

Any time, any where!

You got a build thread on the suburban?

Great to see ya join the leaf spring crew! I have missed it ever since I sold my Marlin.

It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally built my fleet to the point where I could justify throwing money at this caveman technology!

As terrible as it is in so many ways, I love it. Can’t beat the looks. Look forward to getting some run time on it soon.

I don't think I started one. Took a few shots of the start of the body work, might have a shot or two of the chassis but I haven't done much work on it lately.

Been busy with other projects and the burb got pushed to the back burner.

Awesome man! After years in the hobby I finally got one last month. I grabbed the 4runner. Not the best performance, but it sure does look awesome "thumbsup"

I always wanted a flagship radio, well... I finally did it. Do I need it? NO! Am I sleeping on the couch? YES!

Goodies for the SSD TK/Redneck Blazer.
Lockouts for the fronts and +3 hexes with brake rotors for the rear.

Also picked up the stuff I needed to build a set of SSD Diamonds f and R. Had a spare rear Pro 44 complete axle and a set of front metal axle tubes so I got the rest of the front stuff with a pair of Diamond pumpkins. O.D. in both axles (do have a set of stock r&p gears and will likely grab a VP Underdrive to have some od options.
Got them mostly built, but realized the rear tubes were still stock plastics and I didn't have all the bearings I needed.
So have a set of Fast Eddy Pro44 axle bearings coming that fit the SSD Axles. Also have a pair of rear metal axle tubes. Once these things get here I'll be able to build the rest of the F axle and have my SSD Diamonds ready for the LCG Belly Dragger I have plans to build.

I also tossed in a set of the SSD Rear Axle weights to add to the Rear Diamond alxe. The Fronts have aluminum Chubs and Brass Knucks, so want to be able to add some rear biased weight if needed. I suspect it will need to go on.

more later.
