Thank you for buying that so I didn't have to!

Still jealous, though.

Slap a couple skis to the bottom, find some reindeer, and you're set!
Screw the reindeer (no, not literally [emoji1787])...just slap some skis on it, take it to the top of a snow-covered hill, point it downhill, and hop on. Gravity will take care of the rest.

Trailrunner body.

Anyone looking to get a new battery? I have a coupon for 15% off expiring by the end of the month if anyone wants to use it since I don't need a new battery. DM if you want it.

Out with the old.

In with the New.

Old gal did pretty well overall. Installed around 2000. was a 6 year 40 gal.
New girl is 50gal 5500. 9 year and should be better than the old 40.
Thinking of moving to a Geothermal this year for heat in the winter (will keep propane as backup). And a new GT should give me nearly free hot water yr round. plus ac in the summer which I don't have now. and be cheaper than my LP Heating system.
Looking at a 6-8 yr payoff in savings at the current lp rates.

A year ago I picked up an On-Demand propane unit and never got to install it as I was debating on my bathroom remodel where the water heater currently resides.
Got home from spending 280.00 on what should have been 150. in food max and had a wet floor in the bathroom....Knew she was coming but was really hoping the old gal would hold out till end of the year as I was finishing up all the Geo Stuff if I do head that route.... And with the cost of LP flying sky high, its pushing me to make the leap.

I also need to mention that IMO, Element RC/Team Associated have some of the best packaging! Items always packed great in a nicely taped box.

As opposed to...say...Amazon's (so called) 'packing' jobs. LOL

I hear ya on that! I never know how my Amazon orders are going to show up!

^ Looks sweet. I didn't know what to do with my engine since my kit is using a lexan body so I just put it in a tire.

For my Gatekeeper, the wheels arrived a few weeks ago. However...and, unfortunately, partially due to a family medical emergency...I hadn't gotten around to ordering the tires. Well...I finally ordered the tires, which arrived a couple days ago, which I mounted to the wheels last night, and then (temporarily) mounted them on the GK this morning. The reason I say "temporarily" is because I need to not only get wider hexes, but the rear needs hexes that are (approx 3mm...I haven't actually measured yet) wider than the front.

That being said, here are 'before' (using the VS4-10 Phoenix wheels/tires) & 'after' (JConcepts machined aluminum Hazard wheels & Pro-Line Flat Iron XL tires) photos.

In case anyone might be wondering, the Pro-Line tires are approx 1/4" wider, and 1/8" taller, than the 'VXT' tires included with the Phoenix kit.

^ I like it. Also, I was not aware Proline made those tires... I bought the RC4WD versions. Now I gotta spend more money!

Latest purchase isn't a crawler...and, I don't even have it yet, as it just showed from Japan early this morning (or, should I say, "tomorrow", since they're a day ahead of us. What did I get...or, more accurately, what will I be getting?

A limited edition Onisiki HANNYA 1/10 High Performance RWD Drift Car Kit. Unlike the 1,000 unit quantity of Losi's "limited edition" Mint 400 Baja Reys (which they do every year, albeit a different body paint scheme), only 300 (for worldwide distribution) of these are being made. The first 150 were released during the first few days of March, the next 100 were released last night (US time...probably midnight Japan time), and the final 50 will be released early next month.

As collectable as these will probably be, I might try to get a second kit, and keep it sealed for future sale. This gives those reading this an idea of what the box looks like, and what the finished chassis would look like:

Yes, those machined aluminum parts, and the carbon fiber parts, ARE laser etched.

Considered getting/building a drift car. but I don't know if I'd be willing to toss that kind of money at one... Yet. lmao.

in the meantime I took advantage of the Steal Axial had yesterday on the Bomber. Looks like it'll be shipping out on Monday or Tuesday.

Me too. Owning an AE86 myself (doesn't run), it surprised some buddies of mine that I built crawlers instead of drift cars. First drift car I build will definitely have to be an AE86.

Picked up a set of boom racing probuild wheels for an upcoming build. Been wantin to try a set. These will go good with the purple cf gpseed rails ive got for the new rig. Picked up some PL km3s, didnt realize they were 4.19 instead of the 4.75 i wanted smh
