So awesome! What size was your TTR? The TW intrigues me. It's a small displacement dinosaur, but looks perfect for my small stature and they just don't quit. Awesome riding areas too! I'm so jealous!I dont remember if I posted this one, The bug has bit again, started with the TTR, now running a TW...
Hi everyone.
It’s good to be back.
The latest addition to the fleet is my personal holy grail of re-release kits.

The TTR is a 125, small wheel, electric start. The Tw feels very similar to ride unless you have to pick it up, the extra 100 lbs is noticeable...So awesome! What size was your TTR? So cool! Playbikes are a ton of fun. And when you're a small guy like myself, they are perfect. I'm the opposite of a Kawasaki fan, but the KLX140 has my eye, but only because stupid Honda got rid of the 150 and went to a 125. Which model is your dad's KLX? It looks like one of the larger tire models. The TTR is a 125, small wheel, electric start. The Tw feels very similar to ride unless you have to pick it up, the extra 100 lbs is noticeable...
Also, the KLX 140 is my dad's, and my Nephew is riding a Crf150.
Yeah playbikes are tons of fun, my dad has a "walking path" in the back yard that we run XR 100's on. The KLX has 21/18 rims, so full size tires. My TTR has 17/14, and the TW is 18/14. The TW is running a rear tire up front, in my case a Shinko 241 trials tire, and the balloon they call a tire in the rear is every bit as tall as a standard 18" rear.So cool! Don't those small engines struggle pulling the larger wheels and tires? Do you have any direct comparison to a KLX140R that comes with the smaller 17/14 wheels?Yeah playbikes are tons of fun, my dad has a "walking path" in the back yard that we run XR 100's on. Not at all! they all have 5 speed gear boxes, with high performance wet clutches. My TTR is geared the lowest tapping out in 5th around 45ish mph. The KLX is a little faster, than that but not much tapping out around 50-55ish. The CRF has 19/17 wheels and is geared about the same as the KLX. While my TW is geared higher yet tapping out around 60-65. Gearing changes are as easy as changing a sprocket, for lower or higher gearing, and these smaller bikes all share the same size chain (428).Don't those small engines struggle pulling the larger wheels and tires?
