A new segment for me, and too good a deal to pass up! Looks like I'll be toying with Scale Boats for a while. I'm even going to go to a local "Club Float" soon with her! Just going through it now, redoing all the wiring electronics. Pretty cool ride! It's got dual gear-reduced motors, dual pumps for the water guns, Bilge pump, Bow Thrusters, Full sounds and lights all over! It's 43" long and weighed like 30lbs when I got it! Pics:

Here's what I've done to it so far:

Pulled all the electronics and most of the wiring out. It's now got a super rooster for motor control, and I'll drive it with my 8FG.

Should be sweet all cleaned up and done!

Ive got an Amsterdam Tug that is getting a full rebuild including new fiberglassing of the haul lots of work.

be sure to get some video of it finished

I picked it up used, so all the assembly was done. Now I'll make it nice again, clean up the wiring, and play with it a bit!

Thanks!

Now that is one RC I've never had!:ror: I have plenty of boats but never a tug! That thing is sick! I would have grabbed it up as well"thumbsup" So with the reduction on the motors and I'll assume it has some pretty big props on her what do you think it would pull/push? # wise?

on the fire canon pump it looks like you have 2 for them not sure but you can get one from auto parts store for windsheild sqirter and put a t and they will work fine"thumbsup"

I'm going to use a Hobbico fuel pump from the store here to fire the water cannons. We tested it on the voltage I'll be using, and it's awesome!

I've got a Super Rooster driving the boat now, and a regular rooster powering the bow thrusters. I picked up a 1/48 Stingray chopper to put on the deck too. (The boat is 1:50)

:)

Wow, thats really cool! I'd like to see some video of it when you get the chance.

I always wanted a Coast Guard boat to play in the ocean with.:ror:
