Got the new frame swapped in, I will paint it later after everything is mocked up. Stock frame was 22 3/4", new "Joes" frame is 28".

Updates...

-Got some parts in the mail, this rig was missing a lot of pieces when I got it.
-Installed the trans and found a old silvercan in my toolbox I tossed in.
-Bolted the cab floor pan in and dremeled a space for the motor. (I will be making a center console to cover the motor later)
-Made a styrene sleeper pan that is bolted to the trans. All the tronics will go in the sleeper.

I love my Knight Hauler. Problem I see is the scale size difference. The Semi looks too small for that big a$$ scaler on it. IMO.

Keep the build going. Love the trucks!"thumbsup"

The size difference held me back for a while, but I said ..."ah fawk it! build it!".:lmao:

BTW, post a build thread of your rig, would love to check it out!"thumbsup"

Updates...
-Got a CAT 512, now to hinge the hood. :) BTW, it weight just over a pound.
-Trailer is getting close to being done. After I get the tractor done I will convert the trailer to a lowboy.

Gonna be sick when finished. I've wanted to do one of these as a tribute rig to my old mans truck, been thinking of a way to mock his airbags in front with a servo, he could dump the air and sit the battery box on the ground,it was sick

Nice build you have going on. I have 4 of the tamiya big rigs soon it will 5. I'll be following your build keep up the goog work."thumbsup"

I've been dying to get one of these for so long, I just have no clue what I would do with one. Can you get some sort of sound box for these? I think a jake sound clip would make me buy one like NOW. I've been building a 1:25 of most likely what I would do with one of these for a few years (to many projects) heres a couple pics.
