Pasadena to Santa Monica Crawlers UNITE!!!

New to the area, looking to find people between Pasadena and Santa Monica. I work in Santa Monica, but spend all my other time in Pasadena.... I'm looking for crawl spots, clubs, or just others that like to crawl in those areas!!

I'm kinda new to the RC Crawler world, but have been Crawlin with my 1:1 Wrangler for YEARS!!!!!!!! Use to live up in Santa Cruz (crawlin spots EVERYWHERE out there.....) but cant seem to find any good ones (Worth going back to) out here in these parts....

Any help would be GREAT!!!!

Also, I have an SCX-10, I am thinking of going to 2.2 tires and LiPo's, what do you guys think are the best ECU/Motor set-ups and why??

hey man im in socal a little bit east of pasadena, about 20 miles,,, there is some great spots up in azusa canyon, also im trying to get a club started or join one as well... i have a wraith for crawling/trailing,, and a few other trucks for the haulin a$$ and jumpin...

I just came across this other thread ( http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/california/293057-any-crawlers-pasadena.html ) looks like there are a few others in the Pasadena area looking to gather. I posted in that thread as well.

I'd really like to get out this weekend if at all possible.... a Club would be nice to join or even start!!! (But I think we need a few others before we can call our selfs a club.)

haha yea i agree man, well im in the process of fixing my wraith, i stripped the gears now i need new ones,, so if i get them befor this weekend im in... where about would you want to meet up??

I'm interested in a crawling gtg but will be out of town this weekend. Maybe catch up with u guys next time around.

dang man thats crazy thats like an hour drive?? im in san dimas and have found some pretty good local spots for trailing,, there is walnut creek it is a really good spot, lots of water crossings, rocks, hill climbs, pretty scale stuff there too,,

well if your interested in meeting up shoot me a pm and we can work something out,, im running a wraith at the moment need gears tho,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you...... Got SUPER Busy with this business I was given the keys to.. I ended up going crawling yesterday. I was doing laundry in the pasadena area, and while I was waiting, I was on google maps. Found this place called, "Eaton Canyon Park" It's got this dry river bed that's AWESOME for crawling!!! Plus, it's FREE TO PARK!!! WOO HOOO!!! I took some video of my SCX10 bouncing around out there, i'll put the clips together tonight, and post in the morning.

We need to get some people together and GET OUT THERE!!!!
