I Have the old Max5 combo in my Kraton 1/5 EXB 8s 800kv
And there is something missing at the end.

Finally we can have 12s in the new Max5 800kv combo, and it is sensored also.
And price is very fair. Amazing

The MAX4 is too big and heavy also very expensive.

i want 800kv 12s
This new max5 g2 12s will be awsome in heavy Kraton 1/5.
Looks to be almost same size like the old max5 i have in now with 800kv, 8s version
Soon i will have this 100%
These will sell like butter!

I will then start driving my 1/5 Kraton alot more when it is 12s. I will also buy 1set Belted streetwheels.
The heavy weight of these Arrma 1/5 Kraton makes 8s pretty poor. Old Max5/8s only
Now with 12s they will be so fun.

Im sure:
Soon M2C and other custom parts makers will start do Hop ups, drive line things that will make these cars handle 12s like nothing.
There is pretty good hop ups already. Anyways new stuff will come because this new MAX5 G2 release.

Finally som Innovation to 1/5 drivers

I believe you can sell the old MAX5 Combo for 200$ easy. So half the price of the new is fixed this way. Just add 200$ more.

There is alot KRATON 8S RTR owners who want bigger combo. They now have stock 4985 motor and 160a ESC only.
They will be happy buy 56113 motor and 200a old max5 ESC For 200$ total (combo)

I have been thinking about serious today alot.

I have deside not to change to this 12s.
Because i dont want to Die.

This Kraton 8s is so damn heavy rig guys.
It is already very dangerous.

If you got hit by this car in full speed, that will not be pretty. On 8s already.
12s you will DIE 99.9%

If there was a BIG stone you can sit on and drive, then 12s would not be dangerous. None of my spots has this. You must stay up self. There is no huge stone sadly to sit safe on.

I also NEVER run this car at areas there can be other people, animals, or cars parked. NEVER.
I drive these at spots where no others are ever.
You must think alot about safety with these heavy dangerous machines. These are NO TOYS. They should have 25years Age rule atleast.
Im serious.

Go to one hobby store local self, next time please ask if you can touch one and feel how it weight.
Lift one 8s kraton in the air. They weight like 2-3x 1/8 Kraton. They are insane these 1/5 from Arrma atleast.
It is hard to understund before you try self. They are mega big and heavy.

Here is picture my 1/5 EXB Kraton with 1/10 TC Car next to it. Look at the wheel size difference only. It is so big this Kraton 1/5 in real. Goddamn :lmao:

I really want this 12s combo anyways.
Maybe i need buy one Pick up truck car, offroad 4wd. I can sit on the roof
and drive my Kraton 1/5 then safe with 12s
I must start look at old second hand cheap offroad pick up trucks if there is any decent at good price. Never had one before.
Can be fun have one with some large offroad tyres, and buy som bigger
springs and shocks, lift kit. Like real 1/1 crawler almost :lmao:

Been thinking more about this.

With old Max5 and 800kv i push the car everything it has alltime.
Because i wish there was like 5-10% more power and speed.

One great thing with 12s would be more Volt, gear down little.
Punch level down also. Throttle set to about max 85%.
250amp. This way you never push all out, you will run with great performance always, anyways not use everything.
ESC. Motor Lipos will run cool, and chill, Not max alltime. They will last long.

These SUPER Heavy rigs need more volt. 12s is the way to go with these..
Because you dont need have max punch, or max topspeed from radio either with 12s to be happy and have very fun.
This is important when it is very hot outside. Run 12s, this will make these rigs have decent temps, great performance without need push everything out 100% of the time like you need with old 8s Max5 800kv combo.

i Did change to 6s combo in one of my 1/8 onroad cars today i normally run 4s.
Now the car dont need max punch setting, and it does not need huge pinion anymore either.
And throttle speed is nice and fast at 90%
With 4s i did need push 100% alltime to have fun, more heat and stress.
With 6s it runs so nice, more power, anyways not max settings. It runs cool now.
Lipos are also less heated at end of run.

Everything is better when Volt up, gear down i have learn today.
Not only Crawlers. This is also to Bashers.

Go with extra power, more Volt, bigger stronger ESC than you need, same with motor
and you dont need push max , anyways have great , more speed and power. Less heat and stress .

Next time i want 3s rig example, i go 4s combo, set everything 80-90% have like 3.5s .So much better than
need push 100% all time, this is too much stress

Think about real cars, you can run them 150mph, anyways you never go more than about 100mph.
Never push the limit is great, things will last and run cooler.

Offcourse you can do speedrun sometimes, bigger area, settings to 100% push it all, damn they go insane fast then

My 1/8 did 71mph with my friends smal Garmin GPS onboard today with new 6s and 100%.
I did tune it down to 62mph now.
Feels so nice.
This car did 56mph with 4s at max before. Now i can do 62mph easy and not use all with 6s
If i want i can go 70mph+ at max settings easy.

Highly recommend this to everyone. More volt, gear down or do settings down little bit in ESC and radio.
Have cool esc, motor, lipos. Normal fans will do it, no need have super duper cooling fans either.

I did change the radio also from dumbo to digital Futaba, now i have A.B.S brakes also.

Yeah all my rigs I run next size up electronics, higher voltage and lower gearing. Honestly stock electronics seem to be undersized and pushed to thier limits running the rigs they are in.

Your title states sensored, is it a sensored system? Didn't notice it saying so in the description. I prefer sensored, all my rigs are sensored, even the bashers

Nice, yes this is the right way to it i have found out now also.
I will do this with most of my rigs now.

All these new HW G2 combos are Sensored, you can also run them unsensored.

This is how the Sensor cable looks stock. You can also buy adapter
if you like use this ESC sensor to standart sensor motor from another brand

Here you see same cable in new MAX8 G2 round black thick sensor cable

And they sell also adapter, round from ESC to square to other brands motors.

More power than you need, is the best way offcourse.

If you have weak system and need push max throttle always
your lipos will only last 80-100 runs.

With bigger combo, and drive cooler, they will last longer.
About 150runs.

I did talk about this with one professional 2months ago.

Bigger combo will always save lipos, and combo overall lifetime also.
Run cooler , just gear it down some, and have the max punch less, and also top speed about 85-90% in radio. "thumbsup"
