Steve
Ok it has been 2 weeks now with no word
You tell me to get in touch with you which i did, you tell me to give u my shipping info which i did, and you would send my replacement parts out the next day.
I have not heard a word from you at all since this time and i have ask many times now for at least a simple answer to weather they have been sent or not.
I`m guessing not as they would of been here by now.
I did not want to write on here about this but when i get no answer for a week and a half straight you leave me no choice.
Sorry
Mike
This is what i have for a email on the 1/2/13If the pin falls out after u take the red ring off is the shaft screwed to?
Otherwise I think I just need new pins and new outer red rings I think.

Are you using Vanquish steering knuckles? That set up looks funky!! Almost backwards.
The knuckles are VP XR10/wraith. And you can run them either way. It just worked out to be a better angle for my servo/steering linkage.
Most everything on all my rigs are Vanquish.
Is than a VP aluminum axle housing you are using too? To me it looks like painted plastic. I guess your photos are not too clear. I have no idea why the red collar would be ground like that.

Maybe a rock or something small got in there and that forced it to jam and grind....that is all I can think of.
The ones I have seen where the collar was ground had the screws holding the knuckle on just a little to long and the ends of the scres cut into the collar.
So was there a bad batch of the VP VVD's? Is that why more than one had theirs snap the same way? I hope they fixed that problem!! Expensive parts to buy and have that happen.
Stock compatable drive train is limited to what can be done to make it bullet proof. Ive seen enough proof to say the cvd's are as tough or tougher than any other stock compatable cvd's.
But there are things we can do to make it more bullet proof such as the stub diameter and cvd diameter. but they are require modification to the stock rig.
We have been doing several warantee repairs simply because we dont have the replacement parts up just yet for people to replace stuff they just flat out broke.
