I'll have to try this with my Trep's, not impressed with them so far.

Is there any benefit to not cutting the middle treads on the Trep's? I've seen some people cut them, some don't.

I thought it did wonders for the treps opening up the middle. Allowed them to clean out faster and easier. Also improved grip on rocks for me. My rig is mostly slow crawling tho so I guess it may depend on how you plan to use them.

My first try at cutting tires and I did this to my U4's. It's a bad pic lol.

First I wanted more space on the outside lugs to help it in the dirt... So I removed all the smaller lugs. Then I trimmed the remaining outside lugs down on the edges so they don't catch as easy while drifting in the dirt. I then cut an angle out from the center lugs to give a little more void without cutting too much out. I also cut an angle on the outside edge of the center rows again to give a little extra space.

this is an update of a previous cut/sipe design, cut outer lugs in front then cut rears to paddle like setup

mods made tire very soft and conforming but digs holes very fast if movement stops in loose dirt. want to try some TTC stuff or formula off road w these.....

Box stock BFG Krawler T/A's. Called a snow cut or a scramble cut.

I cut My 40 series tires to fit the 1/5 beadlock wheels. I don't run foams in the Mud slingers because of the much stiffer side wall. They are my favorite tire on the Ravon 5 spoke rear wheels. The off set is spot on!

Here is the difference in the inside wheels fron the 1/5 and stock.
I'm getting better performance from the tires and the wheels are bomb proof!

It's interesting that no ones cut a Pitbull Growler yet?

If you check out Crawler Innovations on Instagram, they have a couple different cuts they've done on Growlers.

Edit: Found in the Beastly Beauty thread...
