Hey crew question??
Quick story,so was on the freeway until one of my tires blew. It popped because pressure was low and it was rubbing on the inner sidewall wore away and That's how my tire popped.
So my question is,they are 18s my spare tire is the original tire that i have before i changed them to 18s, is it a big deal or is it ok until i get a new tire?

What size are your tires, what size is your spare, and what kind of vehicle are you driving?

You don’t want too much of a variation in tire size on your drive wheels.

My 3 tires are 18s are 225 45 18 and the spare which is an original 16 with the stock tire i don't know the size but they are the same in size. The 4th tire is not the dummie rim.

Edit... 07 Camry

If the tires are the same overall height than you can run the spare indefinitely.

If you had much of a difference in height then you would want the spare on the rear, assuming it’s FWD like ferp said.

The stock original tire is 215 60 16, but this tire is the same diameter as the 18 inch with the tire.

Does the whole tire look like that? If so, you may want to check the inner sidewalls of all 3 as well as the air pressures too.
